What this extension does

“HypeKyt for Beatport Greenroom” adds a “HypeKyt” button next to your releases on the Beatport Greenroom dashboard (greenroom-app.beatport.com). When you click it, the extension reads the cover-art image URL from that release row and opens HypeKyt (hypekyt.com) in a new tab with that artwork ready to use.

What data the extension collects

None. Specifically:

It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.
It does not send any data to HypeKyt’s servers, or to any third party, from the extension itself.
It does not read, store, or transmit your Beatport account details, login, or any page content beyond the cover-art image URL needed to open it in HypeKyt when you click the button.

How it works technically

The extension runs entirely client-side (in your browser). It only activates on greenroom-app.beatport.com pages. When you click the HypeKyt button, it constructs a link to hypekyt.com containing the public cover-art image URL and opens it in a new tab. No background servers, no stored data, no network requests are made by the extension other than that navigation you trigger.

Permissions

The extension requests the minimum permissions required to add its button to the Greenroom dashboard. It does not request access to your browsing history, other websites, downloads, or any sensitive browser data.

What happens after you click the button

Clicking the button opens the HypeKyt web app, which is governed by its own Privacy Policy. Any information you provide there (for example, creating an account) is handled by HypeKyt the website, not by this extension.

This extension is an independent, third-party tool made by HypeKyt. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Beatport in any way.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
